Tyler and Sara O'Brien welcome you to O'Brien Creek Outfitters LLC! We are a small family owned and operated business, offering quality guided Northern Wyoming and Alaska hunts. In Wyoming we are authorized and permitted to operate on BLM, Wyoming State Lands, Bighorn National Forest, and Private Lands. In Alaska we are permitted to operate in units 20 and 16. Licensed and insured.

The outdoors and hunting is our passion. Our mission and goal is to provide exclusive hunting adventures that will create unforgettable, lifetime memories. We offer fully guided mountain lion, deer, antelope, and elk hunts in Wyoming and baited brown and black bear, caribou, moose, dall sheep, and grizzly bear hunts in Alaska. With years of experience hunting in both Wyoming and Alaska, we have knowledge of some of the best areas to hunt. Our guides are licensed professionals who are dedicated to make your hunt successful and one to remember. We strive to provide the best service and to promote hunting in a positive and ethical way.

O'Brien Creek Outfitters | Wyoming and Alaska Guided Hunts

Tyler O'Brien

Growing up in Northern Wyoming, Tyler has a long family history in the area where he is now permitted to outfit. After his job as a government trapper, he decided to pursue his dream of being an outfitter and since then he has held a guide's license in four states: Wyoming, Idaho, Montana, and Alaska where he now calls home. He has successfully guided hunts for eleven game species including: mule deer, whitetail, antelope, elk, black bear, mountain lion, dall sheep, caribou, moose, grizzly bear, and brown bear. Tyler's desire to share his passion for the outdoors and his experiences has done nothing but grow with time spent in the field and has driven him to start O’Brien Creek Outfitters in 2020 with the purpose of providing the highest quality hunts. After traveling back and forth between Wyoming and Alaska for years and guiding for other operations he decided to expand O'Brien Creek Outfitters to Alaska. Tyler's goal is to help his clients experience a hunt full of adventure and success.

Sara O'Brien

Born and raised in Wyoming, Sara grew up in the outfitting industry and has always had a passion for the outdoors and hunting. She earned a nursing degree and moved to Alaska where she is now a labor and delivery nurse. Tyler and Sara met in 2017 while working together in a remote hunting camp in Alaska where their journey together started. Along with working a full-time job Sara helps to hold down the fort at home, helps manage the books, cooks, and occasionally tags along on a hunt or two.
